For the visual design, it was important to incorporate certain elements of the existing branding. The USSA, being a government body, was quite a mess in that regard. But the Ski Racing magazine had an identity system that was set to work great for what we were trying to achieve. It had big bold colors and headlines, modern fonts, and recognizable branding.
